Delivery Information

Orders placed before 12 noon will usually be dispatched by the end of the next working day. Orders placed from 12 noon from Friday to Sunday will be dispatched by Tuesday (if no bank holidays affect these dates).

Standard delivery normally takes 5-7 working days.

Royal Mail Tracked normally takes 3 - 5 working days.

Special delivery normally takes 1-2 working days; however, please be aware there could be delays and delivery on a specific date is not guaranteed.

All delivery timescales are subject to delays caused by seasonal or busy periods, weather, and other unforeseen circumstances, though we will do everything we can to get your order to you on time.

The packaging we choose to use is simple. We do not box and wrap the socks as this just adds to waste that has to be thrown away.

 


 

Returns

The following refers to sock orders placed directly with HJ Hall via our website or over the telephone. If you purchased your socks from another retailer, please speak to them directly about refunds and returns. We cannot replace or refund socks that were bought from another retailer.

We hope that you are completely happy with your new socks; however, if you aren't, there's no need to worry. Returning your order is quick and easy and you have 28 days to do so. Please ensure you retain all the packaging and paperwork and that the socks are returned unworn and undamaged, with tags still attached. 

As an online customer, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. We've extended this to give you a full 28 days to return any sock purchases. Items must be returned in new, unused condition with all tags and labels intact and suitable for resale. Please note that for hygiene reasons, worn socks cannot be returned or refunded unless a fault is identified. If you do discover a fault in a worn pair, please wash them before sending them back to us.

There is no need to call or email before you return the item. Simply visit our returns portal and follow the instructions. All returns must be packaged securely with returns label provided on the package. We are unable to accept returns in person at our registered office. Please return via post/carrier only.

HJ Hall does not offer a free returns service. However, if there has been an error on our part or the item returned is faulty, your postage will be refunded. Once your return has been received, a quality control check will be completed and your refund will be issued. Please note that credits can take up to 10 working days to be processed after receiving your return.

Underwear Return Policy: For hygiene reasons, underwear items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that our 6-month guarantee only applies to our socks and not any other item of clothing.

Please note: We no longer offer an exchange service. If you would like a different size, colour or style, please return your original order for a refund and place a new order.
