DELIVERY & RETURNS
We do not currently despatch outside these areas.
Orders placed before 12 noon will usually be despatched by the end of the next working day. Orders placed from 12 noon on Friday – Sunday will be despatched by Tuesday latest (if no bank holidays affect these dates). Standard delivery normally takes 3-5 working days.
All delivery timescales are subject to delays caused by seasonal or busy periods, weather and other unforeseen circumstances, though we will do everything we can to get your order to you on time.
If your order was over £50 it will be despatched on a tracked delivery. To find your delivery information click here - tracking service, input the number you have been emailed and you will be quoted a time to expect your parcel.
The packaging we choose to use is simple. We do not box and wrap the socks as this just adds to waste that has to be thrown away.
Exchange & Returns
The following refers to orders placed directly with HJ Hall via our website or over the telephone. If you purchased your socks from another retailer, please speak to them directly about refunds and returns. We cannot replace or refund socks that were bought from another retailer.
We hope that you are completely happy with your new socks, however, if you aren't, there's no need to worry. Exchanging or returning your order is quick and easy and you have 28 days to do this in.
RETURNS OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD
Orders purchased as gifts over the festive period can be returned in January with no problems. Please ensure you retain all the packaging, paperwork and that the socks are returned unworn and undamaged.
All online customers have a statutory right to cancel their order at any time up to 14 days after receipt of the goods. HJ Socks have extended this so you can return your products within 28 days.
All goods returned must be in a new unused condition together with all tags and label intact and in a suitable condition to be resold. Please note for hygiene reasons socks are not refundable IF WORN under any circumstances unless a fault is found. NB. If items are found to be faulty after they have been worn, please ensure they are washed before returning.
There is no need to call or email before you return the item. Fill out the exchange and returns form and include with the goods to be returned. All returns or exchanges must be packaged securely and sent back to the address on the returns label provided on your returns form. Please ensure that you request a certificate of postage (free of charge from the post office) when sending your goods back to us. We are unable to accept returns in person at our registered office. Please return via post/carrier only.
HJ Socks does not offer a free returns service. However, if there has been an error on our part or the item returned is faulty, your postage will be refunded.
Once your return has been received a quality control check will be completed and your refund will be issued. Please note that credits can take up to 10 working days to be processed after receiving your return.
If you require an exchange on a like for like product simply fill in the exchange and returns form and tell us which item you are returning along with the details of the new item you would like. Then send the form and your item(s) back to us in their original condition within 28 days. Once we have received the parcel we will send your new item to you.
